For your digital signage requirements consider Video over CAT5 without the need for bulky external boxes.

In conjunction with the external CAT5 Video Display System (VDS) these internal cards can be used to broadcast high-resolution computer video over CAT5 cable. Available as small internally mounted boards they are designed as OEM products for use by video display manufacturers. Once installed in a display station they can be used as part of a Video Display System (VDS) to broadcast any video content directly to the public in real time.

Standard CAT5 cable simply plugs in to the external RJ45 connector of any internally mounted card in a display screen. This connects to the Video Display System (VDS) base unit and allows you to run real time video over CAT5 structured cabling up to 110m/360ft away from the source.
