07/03/07 - JOB VACANCY - Business Development Sales Person
Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for qualifying all incoming sales enquiries and working with the Sales Manager and Directors to provide them with appointments and internal sales support. In addition the successful candidate will be expected to spend approximately 70% of their time generating new business through proactive calling and account development.
The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience and a basic understanding of either IT or AV technologies. Full training in our products and technical support will be provided.
Articulate, persuasive, organised and intelligent they will be self motivated, goal driven and enthused by working in a team without close supervision.
Location
Based in our Reading office located close to the town centre the role will be primarily an internal telephone sales role, although occasional sales visits to customer locations may be required.
Hours
Standard 7.5 hours per day with office hours flexible between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm.
